Designed in a traditional Irish plaid reminiscent of the first blankets to be woven in our mill, the Connemara Throw takes its name from the wild and rugged landscape of Connemara in North West Galway. The deep purple, blue and green tones have been meticulously chosen by our designer Helen McAlinden to reflect the mountains, lakes and rivers of this beautiful area. Made from 100% lambswool, this soft throw is expertly woven at FOXFORD using the same techniques that have been employed for over 130 years. A note from our designer, Helen McAlinden: “To celebrate 130 years of timeless, Irish craftsmanship, we wanted to go back to our roots and pay homage to the landscape that first inspired us all those years ago.”
